The company’s strength lies in an experienced and enthusiastic team of landscape architects and a resourceful and hard-working field team.
DIONAEA-VRTOVI was established in 1996.
Our goal in every project we undertake is to make it functional, innovative and creative. By listening to our clients, together we create solutions to satisfy their wishes and needs, as well as improve the quality of their lives. Project complexity provides an additional impetus and motivation for us, while respect for landscape architecture standards serves as our main guiding light.
As professionals, we also carry a certain social responsibility to serve as unbiased mediators between modernized living on one hand and preservations of natural and cultural values on the other.

Nataša Tiška Vrsalović, MLA
Director and Certified Landscape Architect
Got her degree with a specialisation in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, in 1991. Graduated from the College of Garden Design, London, in 1990. Certified Landscape Architect 1998.
Nataša has headed DIONAEA-VRTOVI d.o.o. (Ltd.) through numerous challenges since its 1996 establishment. Registration of a branch named DIONAEA-GARDENS Ltd. in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2010 opened a new chapter in the company’s development outside Croatian borders.
Taking special place of pride in Nataša’s long career are the implementation of numerous rooftop gardens, milestones such as involvement in the construction of the Croatian pavilion at Expo 2000 in Hannover as well as a landscape project in the wilderness of Rwanda, and her team.
Irena Kolega, MLA
Project Manager and Certified Landscape Architect
Got her degree with a specialisation in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, in 2000. Certified Landscape Architect since 2010.
Came to DIONAEA-VRTOVI straight from university. For more than two decades now, Irena has filled her work with equal enthusiasm – whether at the office in designing brilliant solutions or at our various project sites. Management of the most demanding projects benefits from her experience, expertise and tolerance. She is irreplaceable in communication with investors, contractors and employees.
Martina Šekutor, MLA
Landscape Architect
Got her degree in Landscape Architecture from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb.
The first point of contact in our office, who holds the fort when everyone else is out in the field and provides information and answers to numerous client inquiries. Through each project, she carefully listens to clients’ wishes and includes them in the design, at the same time offering her unique vision for their garden through elegant solutions and details.
Zrinka Maranić MLA
Landscape Architect
Got her degree in Landscape Architecture from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb.
Since her first day in our team, she’s coming up with creative solutions for projects and likes to see them through from the first line drawn on paper to the last blade of lawn planted on site. She dedicates herself to every new project challenge with meticulousness, attention and innovative ideas.
Lucia Marušić MLA
Landscape Architect
Got her degree in Landscape Architecture from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb.
With equally great enthusiasm she will create realistic 3D renders of our projects and then pull out every weed that doesn’t fit in with them after the garden is completed. She imaginatively plays with shapes, colors and plant combinations to create playful and dynamic landscape solutions.
