2^nd Prize: Project 25 – Cliff Roff Garden, Rijeka, Croatia

The loyalty and trust bestowed on us by our clients even in the times of crisis are undoubtedly our greatest reward but ranking second in an international professional competition certainly counts as well. That we are striving to justify such confidence by daily progress, education and walking side by side with recent international competition in the design and landscaping of green spaces was also recognized by an international jury gathered in Tor San Lorenzo, Italy, where one of the world's most prestigious gatherings - Premio Internazionale Torsanlorenzo 2011 - took place on 21st May.


In competition with the world's leading landscape architecture offices, companies and architects, our design of a cliff roof garden built on the roof of a private house in Rijeka won the second prize in the category of private city and suburban gardens.

"The project shows masterful skill in the use of green roof technologies. It offers a modern solution to a roof garden in a complex location." That was the explanation accompanying the second prize at the Premio Internazionale Torsanlorenzo presented to DIONAEA-GARDENS, more precisely to the project designed by landscape architect Nataša Tiška Vrsalović and engineer Srećko Andraši.



This professional competition has grown since its foundation in 2003 to become one of the most important events in the field of landscaping, urban green culture, public and private parks and most certainly environmental protection in the world. While not being athletes, in our area of operation we now feel like Olympians, crowned in silver so we had to share this joy with our current and future clients.
